The Madhya Pradesh State Governmentprovides the marriage certificate on the basis of the legal requirements. Eligibility
To get marriage certificates in Madhya Pradesh marriage certificate you must meet the following conditions:
- After a month of marriage, the bride or groom can apply for divorce.
- The groom should be aged 21, while the bride must be at least 18 years old.
Documents Required
The following documents are required to get an Madhya Pradesh marriage certificate:
- Four passport-sized pictures of the bride and groom
- Birth certificates or mark sheet of groom and bride
- Marriage cards for marriage
- Three postcard-sized photographs of the wedding ceremony
- If the delay over 21 days, both the parties (bride/groom) have to send a formal letter.
- If the wedding is conducted by a registered priest or Arya Samaaj then a certification that is issued from the priest or an institute must be provided
- Details on two witnesses
- ID proof of the bride and groom
- The webcam captured the image
Online Application
The Madhya Pradesh State Government has launched an online application process. You can apply online in the following way:
Step 1Visit the homepage of e-Nagar Palika in Madhya Pradesh.
Step 2Click the "Citizen Services" button on the homepage.
Step 3Next Click on "Marriage Registration", which will appear within the dropdown.
Fourth step: The next step is to lead you directly to the marriage certificate instruction page where all the information required will be listed. Click on "Click here to apply".
Step 5: In the next page, click "Select Your City" and select the city's name correctly.
Step 6:After filling out an online form then fill up and upload all required documents.
The payment mode will appear on the screen once you've completed the application. If the payment is successful the customer will be emailed an acknowledgement number and receipt.
The receipt can be sent to the registered mobile number and email. Then, the customer should submit the payment receipt along with all the necessary documents to the ward office.
